General conditions
GUEST ACCOMMODATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
for contracts concluded from 1 October 2026
Dear Guest,
we are pleased about your interest in a stay at CRV s.r.l., Via Vantone 45, 25074 Idro (BS), Italy – hereinafter referred to as “CRV”. These Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between CRV and the guest and form part of every guest accommodation contract unless expressly agreed otherwise in the respective offer or booking confirmation.
Please read these terms carefully before booking. The version valid at the time the contract is concluded shall apply. By completing the booking, the guest accepts these Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions insofar as they have been effectively incorporated into the contract.
1. Contracting Party and Scope
1.1 Contracting Party
The contracting party for the guest accommodation contract is CRV s.r.l., Via Vantone 45, 25074 Idro (BS), Italy, Partita IVA and Codice Fiscale IT02514810981, hereinafter referred to as “CRV” or the “Accommodation Provider”.
1.2 Scope
These Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings of pitches, accommodation and other services offered directly by CRV, unless expressly agreed otherwise in the individual offer or booking confirmation.
1.3 Arranged Third-Party Services
Services provided by other companies which CRV merely arranges or facilitates the booking of are not services provided by CRV itself. The contractual terms of the respective service provider shall apply to their performance. This applies in particular to external transfers, excursions, rental vehicles, admission tickets or other third-party services, insofar as CRV is not itself the provider.
1.4 No Package Travel
The booking of an individual accommodation unit or an individual camping/pitch constitutes, as a rule, a separate accommodation service and not a package travel arrangement. If several travel services are combined and the combination meets the statutory requirements for a package travel arrangement, the mandatory statutory provisions applicable thereto and the information prescribed for this purpose shall apply. The legal classification shall be determined by the actual structure of the booked services and not solely by their designation.
2. Basis of Booking and Conclusion of Contract
2.1 Offer
The basis of the contract is the specific booking enquiry or booking, the description of the booked accommodation or pitch, the price and service information valid at the time of booking and, where applicable, individually agreed additional services.
2.2 Binding Conclusion of Contract
In the case of written, telephone or other booking enquiries, the guest submits a binding offer to conclude a guest accommodation contract by making the booking. The contract is concluded as soon as CRV expressly confirms the booking. The booking confirmation may be provided electronically, in particular by e-mail.
For online bookings, clicking the appropriately designated order button constitutes a binding offer by the guest. The guest receives an electronic confirmation after the booking has been received. A contract is only concluded upon acceptance by CRV.
2.3 Bookings for Third Parties, Groups and Companies
Anyone making a booking for several persons is responsible for correctly providing the booking details. In the case of bookings for companies, public authorities, associations or other organisations, the client shall be the contracting party unless expressly agreed otherwise. The person making the booking shall be personally liable for the other guests only insofar as such liability has been expressly assumed or is required by law.
2.4 Minors
Minors may only be accommodated in accordance with statutory requirements and CRV’s requirements. Where necessary, a booking must be made by or with the consent of the legal representatives. The applicable age and occupancy rules of the booked accommodation or campsite must be complied with.
3. Incorporation of the Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions
These Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions shall be made available to the guest no later than before the booking is concluded. For online bookings, the guest must have the opportunity to access and save the terms. For telephone or other bookings, they shall be sent to the guest electronically or in another suitable form upon request or in accordance with the agreed booking process.
Where individual provisions require separate express consent under mandatory Italian law, such consent shall be obtained separately during the relevant booking process.
4. Prices, Charges and Additional Services
The prices stated in the booking basis apply to the scope of services specified there. Unless otherwise stated, prices include statutory value-added tax.
Statutory charges not included in the accommodation or pitch price, in particular any applicable municipal tourist tax or visitor tax, shall be shown separately and shall be paid by the guest.
Usage-based services, additional persons, additional vehicles, pets, optional services or other additional costs shall only be charged if provided for in the booking, ordered by the guest or payable due to actual use in accordance with the conditions communicated at the time of booking.
The price confirmed for the specific booking shall be solely decisive. Obvious pricing or transmission errors entitle CRV to correct them insofar as legally permissible; the guest shall be informed of this without delay.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 General Due Dates
The payment deadlines are set out in the booking confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed there, the following standard conditions shall apply.
5.2 Accommodation
For accommodation, 30% of the total price, but at least €100, shall be due as a deposit upon receipt of the booking confirmation. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 28 days before the start of occupancy.
5.3 Camping Stays
For camping stays, 30% of the total price, but at least €100, shall be due as a deposit upon receipt of the booking confirmation. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 28 days before the start of occupancy.
5.4 Deviating Payment Terms
For certain offers, special rates, packages or bookings expressly designated as “Non-refundable”, “non-cancellable” or similarly, different payment and cancellation conditions may apply. These shall be expressly communicated before the booking is concluded and shall form part of the contract.
5.5 Late Payment
In the event of payment not being made on time, CRV may, after a reasonable prior payment request and insofar as legally permissible, withdraw from the contract and demand the cancellation costs due under these terms or the individual booking. Further statutory rights shall remain unaffected.
CRV shall be entitled, in the event of outstanding claims arising from the guest accommodation contract, to provide further services only against advance payment or immediate payment, insofar as legally permissible.
6. Scope of Services and Occupancy
The scope of services owed shall be determined exclusively by the booking confirmation, the service description valid at the time of booking and expressly agreed individual arrangements.
The booked accommodation or pitch may only be used by the number of persons and vehicles stated in the booking. Exceeding the permitted occupancy requires prior approval by CRV and may result in additional costs.
Special requests, such as specific pitch numbers, location preferences, adjacent pitches, specific rooms or particular facilities, shall be accommodated where possible, but shall only constitute a contractual obligation if expressly confirmed as binding.
Images, floor plans and representations on websites, in catalogues or other media may be illustrative. The services described and confirmed at the time of booking shall be decisive for the specific contract.
7. Arrival, Departure and Late Arrival
The binding arrival and departure times are set out in the booking confirmation and the information provided before arrival.
The guest is obliged to inform CRV in good time of any expected significant delay in arrival. Late arrival does not entitle the guest to an extension of the stay.
If the guest does not arrive without prior notification, CRV may, depending on the circumstances and insofar as legally permissible, dispose of the booked accommodation or pitch. CRV’s statutory and contractual claims for payment or cancellation costs shall remain unaffected.
The accommodation or pitch must be completely vacated by the communicated departure time at the latest. In the event of late vacating, CRV may, insofar as legally permissible and depending on the duration and impact of the delay, charge for an additional overnight stay or reasonable compensation for use. Further damages are reserved.
8. Changes by the Guest
8.1 Requests for Changes
Changes to travel dates, accommodation, pitch, number of persons or other material booking details require confirmation by CRV. A change may be refused in particular in the event of a different price, lack of availability or special rates.
8.2 Reduction of Stay or Services
A shortening of the stay, a reduction in booked services or a later arrival shall be deemed a partial cancellation or non-use of the services not used, unless CRV expressly confirms another arrangement. A pro-rata refund shall only be available insofar as provided for in the cancellation conditions or an individual agreement.
8.3 Transfer to Other Persons
Transfer of a booking to another person is only possible with the prior consent of CRV and requires the new person to meet the applicable booking requirements. Mandatory statutory rights shall remain unaffected.
9. Withdrawal, Cancellation and No-Show
9.1 No General Right of Withdrawal
When booking accommodation or a pitch for a specific period, there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. This corresponds to the statutory exception for accommodation services where a specific period for the provision of the service has been agreed.
9.2 Cancellation by the Guest – Standard Accommodation Rate
For an accommodation booking under Section 5.2, the following cancellation conditions shall apply unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation:
• up to and including 29 days before the agreed arrival date: 30% of the total price, minimum €100;
• 28 up to and including 8 days before the agreed arrival date: 80% of the total price;
• from 7 days before the agreed arrival date up to and including the arrival date, as well as in the event of no-show: 100% of the total price.
9.3 Cancellation by the Guest – Standard Camping Rate
For a camping booking under Section 5.3, the following cancellation conditions shall apply unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation:
• up to and including 43 days before the agreed arrival date: no cancellation costs;
• 42 up to and including 29 days before the agreed arrival date: 30% of the total price, minimum €100;
• 28 up to and including 8 days before the agreed arrival date: 80% of the total price;
• from 7 days before the agreed arrival date up to and including the arrival date, as well as in the event of no-show: 100% of the total price.
9.4 Special Rates and Non-Cancellable Bookings
For special rates, promotional prices, packages or bookings expressly designated as non-cancellable, the special conditions communicated at the time of booking shall apply. These may in particular provide for full advance payment and exclusion or restriction of refunds.
9.5 Proof of Lower Damage
To the extent legally permissible, the guest shall be entitled to prove that CRV suffered no loss or a substantially lower loss or reimbursement of expenses as a result of the cancellation. CRV reserves the right to prove higher actual damage, insofar as legally permissible.
9.6 Travel Insurance
CRV recommends taking out suitable travel cancellation or travel interruption insurance, which may in particular cover illness, accident, late arrival and other personal reasons preventing travel.
10. Withdrawal or Changes to Services by CRV
CRV may withdraw from the contract or offer an equivalent replacement service if the agreed service cannot be provided in whole or in part for reasons that were unforeseeable when the contract was concluded and for which CRV is not responsible, in particular due to significant natural events, official orders, significant technical damage, safety reasons or other cases of force majeure.
Where CRV can offer a reasonable equivalent replacement service, this shall be communicated to the guest. If a replacement service is not possible or not reasonable for the guest, amounts already paid for services not provided shall be refunded in accordance with statutory requirements. Further claims shall only exist in accordance with statutory provisions.
Temporary restrictions of individual facilities, such as pools, wellness, sports, catering or other facilities, shall not give rise to a claim for a price reduction insofar as the restriction is minor, short-term, necessary for safety or maintenance reasons, or insofar as a price reduction is excluded under statutory provisions. Material, significant deviations for which CRV is responsible shall remain unaffected.
11. House Rules, Campsite Rules and Guest Obligations
The guest undertakes to comply with the applicable house rules, campsite rules and safety regulations and to respect the legitimate interests of other guests, employees and residents.
The guest must treat the accommodation, pitch, facilities and items provided with due care. Damage, defects or disruptions must be reported to CRV as soon as possible so that remedial action can be taken.
In particular, significant disturbance of other guests, misuse or dangerous use of the facilities, and actions contrary to statutory provisions or the house or campsite rules are prohibited.
The guest shall be liable in accordance with statutory provisions for damage culpably caused by the guest, accompanying persons, persons invited by the guest or animals brought by the guest.
12. Pets
Pets may only be brought with prior approval or appropriate registration and only into the accommodation or areas designated for this purpose. The applicable conditions and fees shall be communicated at the time of booking.
The guest must ensure that pets do not cause any danger, soiling, nuisance or damage. Damage and additional cleaning costs caused by the animal shall be borne by the guest in accordance with statutory provisions.
13. Damage, Cleaning and Deposit
CRV may require a reasonable deposit for certain accommodation, periods of the season, group bookings or special offers. The amount, payment date and repayment shall be communicated to the guest before or at the latest upon booking.
In the event of extraordinary soiling, damage, loss of inventory, keys/access media or other damage attributable to the guest, CRV may charge the necessary and reasonable costs in accordance with statutory provisions.
A deposit may be offset against due and justified claims by CRV arising from the guest accommodation contract. Any remaining amount shall be refunded after completion of the review.
14. Liability of CRV
14.1 Statutory Liability
CRV shall be liable in accordance with statutory provisions. A limitation of liability shall not apply insofar as liability may not be excluded or limited under mandatory statutory provisions, in particular in cases of intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory statutory liability provisions.
14.2 Property Brought In
In particular, the mandatory statutory provisions on the liability of the accommodation provider for property brought in shall apply. The statutory special provisions for property brought in and property taken into custody shall remain unaffected.
Valuables, cash and other particularly valuable items should, where possible, be kept in the storage facility provided for this purpose. CRV’s statutory obligations and liability provisions shall remain unaffected.
14.3 Third-Party Services
For services not provided by CRV itself but merely arranged by CRV, CRV shall not be liable for their proper performance insofar as CRV has not assumed its own contractual obligation to perform them. Statutory claims against CRV for its own breaches of duty shall remain unaffected.
14.4 Force Majeure
For disruptions attributable exclusively to events of force majeure or official measures whose consequences CRV could not prevent or avert, CRV shall be liable only within the scope of mandatory statutory provisions.
15. Notification of Defects and Remedial Action
The guest is obliged to report recognisable defects or deviations to CRV as soon as possible and to allow a reasonable opportunity for remedial action. Failure to report defects or late notification may affect the guest’s statutory rights insofar as provided by law.
CRV shall, within reason, endeavour to remedy justified defects as quickly as possible during the stay or offer a reasonable alternative.
16. Data Protection
CRV processes personal data in connection with the booking and performance of the stay in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the relevant Italian data protection provisions.
Processing is carried out in particular for processing and performing the booking, fulfilling legal obligations, processing payments, communicating with the guest and, where necessary, safeguarding legitimate interests. Processing on the basis of consent shall only take place where consent is actually required for this purpose.
Details of the controller, purposes, legal bases, recipients, storage periods and the rights of data subjects are set out in CRV’s current privacy policy.
For the purpose of enhancing the safety and security of our guests, employees and other persons, as well as protecting our facilities, installations and property, video surveillance systems are operated on the CRV premises and in certain buildings and areas of the campsite.
Video surveillance is carried out exclusively in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the relevant Italian data protection regulations. The processing of personal data collected through video surveillance is carried out on the basis of the applicable legal provisions and in compliance with the principles of purpose limitation, data minimisation and storage limitation.
Areas subject to video surveillance are identified by appropriate signs. Further information regarding the controller, the purposes and legal bases of processing, the retention period, recipients of the data and the rights of data subjects is provided in CRV’s current video surveillance privacy notice, which is available on CRV’s website and at the designated locations.
17. Complaints and Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
In the event of complaints or objections, the guest should first contact CRV directly so that a prompt and, as far as possible, amicable solution can be found.
CRV is currently not obliged and does not generally declare its willingness to participate in a specific consumer arbitration procedure. Statutory consumer rights, in particular the possibility of using a legally recognised ADR body, remain unaffected.
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued since 2025 and is therefore no longer specified as a means of complaint in these Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
18. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Italian law shall apply, excluding conflict-of-law rules, insofar as this is not opposed by mandatory consumer protection provisions.
For consumer contracts, the mandatory statutory provisions on jurisdiction and consumer protection remain unaffected. In particular, these Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions do not establish any jurisdiction that deprives the consumer of a legally mandatory place of jurisdiction.
For contracts with businesses, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law, the registered office of CRV shall be agreed as the place of jurisdiction, insofar as legally permissible.
19. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the remaining provisions and the guest accommodation contract as a whole shall remain effective. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision, insofar as such replacement is legally permissible.
Individual agreements with the guest shall take precedence over these Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
The version of these Guest Accommodation Terms and Conditions that was validly incorporated into the contract at the time the contract was concluded shall be decisive.
